La Police Municipale de Pfaffenhoffen est composée de deux policiers agréés et assermentés, ainsi que d'un Agent de Surveillance de la Voie Publique (ASVP), au service de la population. |
Les policiers municipaux assurent les missions suivantes :
- Sécurité et tranquillité publique.
- Surveillance des quartiers et lotissements en prévention d'actes malveillants.
- Opération Tranquillité Vacances en collaboration avec la Gendarmerie Nationale.
- Surveillance de la voie publique, des lieux publics, du stationnement et de la circulation.
- Application du code de la route, notamment le contrôle de la vitesse.
- Fourrière automobile.
- Rédaction - contrôle de l'application des arrêtés municipaux.
- Missions préventives de proximité auprès de la population.
- Surveillance des abords des établissements scolaires.
- Réquisition par la Brigade de Gendarmerie (événements exceptionnels, catastrophes naturelles, recherche de personnes, assistances lors d'accidents...).
- Police des manifestations municipales.
- Police de l’urbanisme
- Réglementation relative aux chiens catégorisés, gestion des objets trouvés...
- Patrouilles véhiculées sur l’ensemble du territoire de la commune, de celles de la communauté de communes du Val de Moder, ainsi que celles d’Obermodern-Zutzendorf, Bouxwiller et associées
- Interventions sur les flagrants délits
- Surveillance et contrôle des foires et marché

L'agent de surveillance assure les missions suivantes :
- Rotation des stationnements dans la zone réglementée (zone bleue), verbalisation des stationnements gênants (personne à mobilité réduite, arrêts de bus, trottoirs...).
- Mission de veille sociale et urbaine (observation et signalements relatifs aux dégradations sur le domaine public).
- Sécurisation des traversées piétonnes aux heures d'entrée / de sortie des écoles et sensibilisation des automobilistes en matière de sécurité aux abords des établissements scolaires.
- Surveillance des manifestations municipales, des foires & marchés et régisseur-placier du marché hebdomadaire.
- Information des usagers, contact avec les commerçants...
Les conventions :
- Une convention de partenariat permet aux agents de la polcie municipale d’effectuer les missions qui leurs sont attribuées sur les 8 communes de la communauté de communes du Val de Moder
- Une convention de partenariat permet à ces mêmes agents de travailler sur les communes d’Obermodern, Zutzendorf, Bouxwiller et les communes associées.
- Une convention de coordination avec les forces de l’état (Gendarmerie Nationale de BOUXWILLER et REICHSHOFFEN)
