Présentation de la Maison de l'Enfance
La Maison de l'Enfance est un bâtiment communal qui jouxte le groupe scolaire Philippe-Chrétien Schweitzer. Ce bâtiment servait d'ateliers municipaux avant d'être réhabilité afin d'y accueillir des enfants en dehors des heures d'école.
Accueils de loisirs sans hébergement
Durant les congés scolaires, l'Association Réseau Animation Intercommunal y accueille des enfants en centre aérés. Elle y organise également des mercredis éducatifs et des manifestations familiales.
Accueil Périscolaire
Pendant la période scolaire, la commune de Val-de-Moder organise au sein de la Maison de l'Enfance un accueil périscolaire depuis septembre 2008. Au départ, 50 places étaient disponibles, mais au vu de l'augmentation des demandes d'inscriptions, la municipalité a obtenu l'autorisation d'élargir sa capacité à 100 enfants.
La directrice dispose de 8 animateurs formés à l'encadrement suivant la réglementation fixée par la Direction Départementale de la Cohésion Sociale du Bas-Rhin. La commune s'est donnée les moyens matériels et humains pour que l'accueil périscolaire soit un lieu de vie agréable, convivial, éducatif et rassurant où enfants et familles sont au centre des préoccupations.
Afin de correspondre au mieux aux attentes, les activités s'articulent autour d'un projet pédagogique construit par l'équipe, en prenant en compte les besoins et les envies des principaux concernés : les enfants.
