Accompagné d’un massage cardiaque, le DAE contribue à augmenter significativement les chances de survie. Il est donc indispensable que toute personne, témoin d’un arrêt cardiaque, initie la « chaîne de survie » formée des 4 maillons qui procurent aux victimes les meilleures chances de survie.
